Cedarville University continues to exceed the national average in helping its students secure employment after graduation.
For the fifth consecutive year, Cedarville’s career placement rate has exceeded the national average set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Cedarville’s placement rate for the class of 2024 graduates was 98.17%, just behind its five-year average of 98.22%. The five-year national average is 84%.
Behind these numbers is a dynamic partnership between faculty, staff and career services that ensures students have the skills and confidence needed to thrive after graduation. Cedarville’s career services team not only provides essential resources but also collaborates with the professors to bring career preparation directly into the classroom.
Jeff Reep, director of career services, emphasizes the importance of bridging the gap between technical knowledge gained in the classroom and the soft skills needed before entering the professional world.
“There is a mutual pursuit between the faculty and staff for the success of students after graduation,” said Reep.
To equip students for success, Cedarville’s career services team regularly visits classrooms as guest speakers and offers a wide range of professional development opportunities, including certified LinkedIn reviews, resume reviews, mock interviews, alumni networking and employer connection events.
